Screw Flights
Helicoid screw flights are formed in a our special rolling machine byforming a steel strip into a continuous, smooth one-piece helix of the
required diameter, pitch and thickness to fit conveyor screw
pipes. The helicoid flight is tapered in cross section, with the
thickness at the inner edge approximately twice the thickness
of the outer edge.
Helicoid flightning is made with regular pitch approximately
equal to the diameter.
The rolling process effects a hardening and smoothing of
flight surface which increases resistance to wear and reduces
friction and power consumption.
We stock flights Ø60-400 mm right and left handed
with length 3 m
